A superb quality early 19th century hallmarked London silver, near matching four piece tea and coffee set with elaborate repousse design displaying grape vines, acanthus leaf, clear cartouche and serpentine base. The teapot and milk jug are made by Edward Barton and dated 1827, the coffee pot and sugar bowl are made by Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard. Coffee pot dates 1827 and sugar bowl dates 1826. Approx. combined weight 2763 grams, Coffee pot approx. weight 1016 grams, teapot approx. weight 909 grams, milk jug approx. weight 343 grams and sugar bowl approx. weight 495 grams
